Overview

The versatile pneumatic seed drill

The Solitair 9 pneumatic seed drill is available as a mounted rigid or folding version, or as semi-mounted folding version in working widths of 3 to 6 metres. As it can be combined with various soil cultivation implements or run in solo operation, it can be used in a wide range of applications and with various cultivation methods.

  • The six cell wheels of the central metering unit can be set to seeding rates between 1.5 and 300 kg/ha for sowing different types of seeds.
  • The Solitronic not only controls the electric seeding shaft drive but also handles all other control and monitoring functions. The clearly organised colour display makes it easy for drivers to operate the unit.
  • The seed distributors are located outside of the seed hopper, directly above the coulter bar. The seeding hoses running from the distributor to the coulter are of equal length and as short as possible to ensure precise seed distribution.
  • The double disc c oulters with depth control wheels with rubber tyres place seeds precisely at the same depth even in changing soil conditions. The depth control of the double discs remains ideal even at high operating speeds.
